VEHICLE DONATION FAQS
Does the vehicle need to be in running condition?
No. It does not need to be running but it must have it’s engine and transmission.
How long does it take to pick up my car?
Less than 5-7 business days.
Is a current tag required?
No. Georgia allows you to keep your tag.
Can I donate if my title is out of state?
I don’t have a title, can I still donate my car?
If your car is a 1985 or older, you can prepare a hand written donation letter. If your car is a 1986 or newer, you will need to apply for a replacement title at the Department of Motor Vehicles (404) 362-6500 or at your county tag office.
How do I determine the fair market value of my donated vehicle?
You can consult your accountant, use the blue/black book value, check Kelly Blue Book, call your bank or credit union, or use the classified ads.
Will you take items other than cars?
Yes. We take motorcycles, buses, trailers, and box trucks. We also accept boats, motor homes or campers.
